SN75LVDS83B: SN75LVDS83B Pullups

Hi,

On the schematic on Fig. 14 of the SN75LVDS83B datasheet it shows 4K7 pullups on all data lines. But it does not mention anywhere on the datasheet to place such pullups.

Are they needed?

If yes, why? What for?

Hello Rick,

The pullup is not a requirement since this inputs have an internal pulldowns. Anyway, if application only requires 18-bit color, connect unused inputs D5, D10, D11, D16, D17, D23, CMOS IN with and D27 to GND.

not sure what you mean by "connect D5, D10, D11, D16, D17, D23, CMOS IN with and D27 with GND". What do we need to connect the first set of signals with?

Do you mean "connect D5, D10, D11, D16, D17, D23 with CMOS IN and D27 with GND"
OR
"connect D5, D10, D11, D16, D17, D23, CMOS IN with VDD and D27 with GND"
