A DVI video source is connected to the Eval Brd. There's no output video from the Eval Brd - verified by hi-freq scope.

Test condition:  The DDC is not connected to the Eval Brd. The DDC is routed without the the Evaluation Board. Which means only TMDS signals are connected both at input and output of the Eval Brd.

1. can the Eval Board function without the DDC at all?

2. are there special means that should be taken to work without DDC in the Eval Brd?

    Hi Ofek,

    HDMI should send a default video when DDC is not present, is the video source a DP++ source with a level shifter?

    What is the state of HPD?

    Could you measure there is input video TMDS171?

    Could you take eye diagrams using TMDS171EVM and EyeScan Tool?
