Thanks for answer.
One more question. There are Zener diode and Schottky diode in parallel between DESAT and GND pin on the circuit.
1. What's the purpose of these two diodes?
2. is there any risky without these two diodes?
Regards,
Brian
Hi, Brian,
Good to hear from you.
The purpose of these diodes is discussed in section 10.2.2.1.
Those two diodes prevent the voltage spikes caused during switching from damaging the IC. The parasitic inductance in the circuit will cause spikes that could damage that pin. A Schottky diode to ground is used to keep the voltage on the pin within the Absolute Maximum ratings of the DESAT pin.
I highly recommend you add the network on the DESAT pin, otherwise there is a high likelihood the IC could become damaged.
Let me know if you have any other questions!
