Can't find TI design PMP40070

Hi Sir,

1.I have got the information about PMP40070 as the picture below, but I can't find anything detail form TI wrbside, is there any reason?

2.I see TPS25725 in the design, but I can't find it from webside as well, what's the function about it? what's the other IC that can replace it?

Thank you!!

  • Hi Chentsu,

This reference design was never formally released. We are actually in the process of updating this design for our latest ICs. At this time I cannot share the latest file as the core IC for the design is not yet released.

Can you let me know where you found this slide? I would like to correct it in order to limit any further confusion.

    Thanks,
    Karl
  • chentsu, TPS25725 was released as a custom part and we are not promoting it for new opportunities. As a result PMP40070 will not be released. But we already have a update reference design ( most of things are same as PMP40070 but removing the PD controller). It is available and can be used to evaluation for buck-boost power stage. Of course, if you would like to have the type C PD function, you need an external PD controller board connected.

  • Hi Sir,

Thank you, understand that, thanks for your explanation.
