DEARS.

I would like to use 10G and 1G optical module together.

DS125DF410, DS100DF410 Both IN / OUT is CML.

In the case of 10 G optical module CML is used, but in case of 1 G optical module LVPECL is used.

Is there a problem with using a 1G optical module?

Hi Henry,

There is no problem using 1G optical module. AC coupling is usually placed on the module itself, so either LVPECL or CML is okay.

I would just check to ensure the optical module is specified to have the AC coupling.
