DS91M040: How to handle unused channels of DS91M040

Hello,

My customer is using DS91M040. However, they just want use two channels. For the rest two, how should customer handle it for best performance? Floating or grounded? Thanks!

Hi Paul,

Each of the channels has its own driver enable and receiver enable, therefore I recommend to disable the unused channels. This will reduce power consumption and place the outputs in high impedance. The inputs can be left floating.
