DP83640: DP83640 Synchronous Ethernet Mode Clocking Architecture

I check the Synchronous Ethernet Mode using point to point topology. And I want to use Synchronous Ethernet Mode in a chain topology, like the picture. 

1、whether the Synchronous Ethernet Mode can use in this topology

2、How to  choose the 83640  reference clock，am I right？ or can it work？
