TPD8S300: protection without Vpwr

Hi Team,

The TPD8S3000 need a 2.7 ~ 3.6V power supply at Vpwr.

what if there isn't any power in the system (assuming using external LDO and it lost power or damaged) to power the TPD8S300, will it still operate and giving protection?

    Sorry for the delay in responding to this query.

    The TPD8S3000 has all of the necessary keep off logic to ensure that the switches used for protection are held off when power is not supplied to provide the required protection. The device also has the CC Dead Battery Resistors in place to allow the system to detect and charge a dead rechargeable battery from the Type-C VBUS connection.
