We are looking at how to validate our hardware in manufacturing production without installing a SATA drive. Does TI have any recommendations or examples of how device functionality can be validated without a drive connected?
We were thinking of ways to loopback the SATA lines or run the device in a way that can detect a loopback (if we provide a connection), but I wasn’t able to find any discussion of this type of option in the product documentation.
Is there a way to do production loop-back testing to avoid having to connect a SATA drive?
