I would like to check to you if DS90UB913A can support 1920 * 1080 30fps camera module.

Camera module setting is here.
- Bus Width: 8-Bit (YUV)
- Active Picture: 1920x1080
- Total Frame: 2200x1125
- Pixel Clock: 2200*1125*30FPS=74250000Hz=74.25MHz

As you know, DS90UB913A can support 10-bit Payload up to 100 MHz and connect a 8-bit data camera module.

From the data sheet and following E2E.

I think DS90UB913 should be ok, but may you please help double check?

Hello,

Above calculation is valid if you are planning on sending only 8 bits per pixel.

If 16 bits per pixel are required for example you would need to run at 15 fps at PCLK of 74.25 MHz..

Our customer is using the format (YUV 8-bit with embedded sync, PCLK 74.25MHz).
My point is that we can introduce DS90UB913A or NOT.

Can we introduce DS90UB913A?

74.25 MHz PCLK can be supported in either 10bit or 12 bit mode.
DS90UB913A-Q1 and DS90UB933-Q1 do not support embedded synch formats, they require seperate frame synch and data enable inputs.
Most imagers allow for configuring other type formats which can generate these inputs to the 913A/933.
