TMDS181: About "ESD diode" between VCC and IN_Dxp/n and IN_CLKp/N

We can't disclose the actual implementation of the circuit.
From HDMI specification there is a 50 ohms resistor from IN_Dx to Vcc.

I have one more question.

Our customer are evaluating TMDS181 but the source side output “IN_Dxp/n and IN_CLKp/N (around 2.5V)” even if the sink side application including "TMDS181" is power OFF(VCC=VDD=floating).

So, " IN_Dxp/n and IN_CLKp/N " exceeds "VCC+0.3V".

Then, application circuit is like a Figure36.

Have you seen this problem?

If yes, could you please let us know if you have any workaround?

HI Kanemaru,

The HDMI outputs are current sources, they shouldn't apply a voltage on TMDS181 inputs they should sink current.
