Dear Sir

We test TUSB1002 and TUSB1046 use the same cable

TUSB1002 can't reach to 10Gbps ,but TUSB1046 can reach to 10Gbps

1. Could you help to provide TUSB1046EVM USB3.1 Gen2 SI compliance test report ?

2. TUSB1046 setting is below ,May I know how to modify TUSB1002EVM?

Sorry !! What kind of cable information you need

Due to TUSB1046 EQ setting is EQx=00 and SSEQx=00 ,I think TUSB1002 can find similar setting

But I use below yellow value to verify ,TUSB1002 only can work on USB3.1 Gen1 5Gbps

PS . Could you help to provide TUSB1046EVM USB3.1 Gen2 SI compliance test report to me ?

Hello Hsiao,

I need to know the cable length and if possible the loss profile. So let me summarise the issue here, you have good communication using the TUSB1046, am I right, and you want to reproduce the result using the TUSB1002. Please confirm. If so, then provide the configuration you have on the TUSB1046 for EQ as well as SSEQ.

Yes!! you are right
TUSB1046 setting is EQ0 = 0 / EQ1 = 0 / SSEQ0 = 0 / SSEQ1 = 0
Please kindly help to confirm TUSB1002 config setting

Hello Hsiao,

Perhaps the issue is due to over EQ, The minimum EQ settings for the TUSB1002 is 5dB (@ 5GHz - 10Gbps), but the EQ settings you've mentioned result in a negative EQ value, the TUSB1002 cannot be matched with such EQ value, seems that the port does not need a re-driver.
