DP83867E: DP83867

Part Number: DP83867E

Hi,

My customer has the following questions on the DP83867

- Estimated lifecycle in years

- Why is the E version better in timing (see below)

  • Estimated lifecycle in years :

Are you looking for the life-cycle this device will be available from TI or working life of the part ? Both are inline with TI standard quality policy.

DP83867E is targetted for Real Time Industrial Applications and hence meets more stringent timings along with Higher Temperature Range.

  • Geet,
The question is related to life cycle.
The product has to be available for >15-20 years due to the nature of the systems the customer builds and sells.
Customer would like to understand where the device is in its life cycle: intro, mature, decline
As for the two different options.
Are these physically the same devices or are they different dies.
Maybe better to take this off line so I can disclose the customer name too.
    Pls. drop me an email.
