DP83822I: Link pulse return

Dear Specialists,

My customer is encountering the problem on TLK105.

At the power is off, link pulse is reflected to Tx, and then error recognition happened at the hub.

This is sometimes happened to TLKxxx.

 

Acoording to the post listed below, DP83822 may be improved.

If so, do you have any data of link pulse reflection.

It's a good news to the customer, I can suggest the customer change to DP83822.

    Yes, this specific issue was addressed with DP83822. You can customer to use DP83822 EVM to test and confirm.

    Can you please help what kind of document you are looking for ?

    Given this is functional issue and easily reproducible, it can be tried on DP83822 EVM by customer himself to confirm issue is fixed.

    But the customer need to explain why the issue has solved to the end customer.

    I think off isolation of DP83822 is developed to improve than TLK1xx.
    Could you please inform how has the device improved and how much improved.
    It' also OK design value.

  • Hi Shinichi-san,

    This is internal to TLK105 device circuit and functional issue. While designing DP83822, it was ensured that appropriate design measures are taken to address the issue. The use-case was tested during validation of device and found to be ok.
