TLK10031: About unused pins

Hi Luis-san,

Our customer don’t use the following pins.

-LOSA (E9 pin)

-LS_OK_OUT_A (D9 pin)

-PRBSEN (B9 pin)

-PRBS_PASS (J9 pin)

Then, I understand that they can open the unused pins(No connect).

Is my understanding incorrect?

And, I have one more question.

I understand that GPIO pins should be grounded through a resistor on the device application board.

Could you please let us know if you have any recommended resistor value?

Regards,

Kanemaru

  • Hi Kanemaru,

    LOSA
    LS_OK_OUT_A
    PRBS_PASS

    Can be floated.

Otherwise, PRBSEN please connect it to GND to disable the PRBS function, I am suggesting this since this pin is a control input.

For GPIO pins place resistors of ~49.9K should be fine for the application according to the TLK10232EVM (dual channel version) design.
