TCA8424: Burn in error

Hi Sirs,

Sorry to bother you.

We have use TCA8424.

If we use TI tooling to burning, the function is OK.

But if we use our 3rd party tooling, even our burn in data could read the same data like TI tooling , but function still couldn't work.

We would like to know does TCA8424 must use TI tooling to burn in?

Or where could we setting??

    Sorry, update more detail.

    The burn in is TCA8424EVM-038 with MSP-EXP430G2.

    TI Tooling burn in is OK

    hello Sue-Cheng,
    There is no reason you shouldn't be able to program the non-volatile memory with another system as long as that system follows the sequence prescribed in the datasheet and EVM guide. If the 3rd party tool isn't working than it is a problem with their system and you will have to work with them to debug it such that it meats our programming procedure.
