Hello,

If customer could send positive signal to negative pin of DS80PCI800/810, negative signal to positive pin of DS80PCI800/810 for signal polarity swap? Thank you.

Hi Patrick,

The DS80PCI800/810 are not protocol aware so they cannot digitally swap the P/N signals like the system host or endpoint. However, swapping the P/N inputs will invert the signal presented to the system components. This is usually done to improve the PCB routing and layout.

Customer just swap P/N signal to P/N input and output pin directly for easy PCB routing and layout. So does it work, right? Thank you.

Yes swapping the polarity on the inputs and outputs for routing purposes is a good solution.
