TPD4E05U06: TPD4E05U06 impedance level is less than 85 ohm?

Part Number: TPD4E05U06

HI,

one of my customer measured the impedance level for TPD4E05U06 and he noticed that it is lower than 85ohm.

The HDMI spec requirement for the impedance level is 100ohm +/- 15%.

So, is it risky to use this TPD4E05U06 for hdmi esd protection?

    The TPD4E05U06 is a protection diode device designed specifically for HDMI protection There should be no AC current flow through the device, so the resistance measuring lower than the 100 Ohm spec should not impact the RF performance of the channel and also, RF chips typically are designed with slightly lower resistance than the spec to accommodate the connector and board trace resistances so that the total system resistance meets the spec.
