Hi,

In the default setting of IO-EXPANDER-EVM, TCA6408A is not in it.

If I evaluate TCA6408A in IO-EXPANDER-EVM, I need to replace the device to TCA6408APWR, is my understanding correct?

Hello Hideyuki-san,
Yes, that is the concept. Once you have tested out the TCA6408APWR device on the IO-EXPANDER-EVM and verify it does what you want it to do or verify your code you can easily go to the other smaller package which is appropriate for your form factor. Let me know if you have any other questions.
