I our application, we have 2 cameras (with Serializers DS90UB953-Q1) connected to 2 ports of the Deserializer DS90UB960-Q1. The CSI-2 Port0 output of the Deserializer is connected to the OV491 ISP. The output of ISP is expected to have 2 virtual channels carrying the 2 camera inputs.
What we observe is that, out of the 2 Virtual channels of ISP, VC0 is having the frames from both the camera blended together and VC1 is having black screen. For your reference, given below the snapshot of the VC0 output, where you can easily notice that the camera input from RX0 port and RX1 port is blended together. VC1 output is black screen.
We have confirmed that the ov491 is not doing any blending. This ISP just transfers the CSI data from its MIPI RX to MIPI TX Virtual channels.
So this issue could be at the Deserializer side. On the Deserializer, we have confirmed that the Virtual channel mapping is done correctly.
Could you please share your thoughts on how to investigate this issue further on the Deserializer? Also it would be great if you could share any example code for this configuration.
