DS80PCI810: device non-ack some times when boot system

Part Number: DS80PCI810

Hi There:

Our customer who is current using DS80PCI810 to test the performance.

1. It will have non-ack message from device sometimes (not always)  when system boot. which step we could double check the setting.

2. Another point need to check: they tie the VIN & VDD into 3.3V together, would it impact the ENSMB function or cause device unable to read?

  • Hi Kay,

Disconnect the VDD pins from VIN this is not a recommended way to connect this device.

If VDD_SEL = 0, then VIN = 3.3V and the VDD pins will be driven to 2.5V by an internal regulator.

If VDD_SEL = 1, then VIN = Float and VDD must be connected to a 2.5V power supply.

    Regards,

    Lee
