Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DP-EXPANSION-EVM
My customer is having difficulty getting DP1.1 to work over our TPS65986EVM and DP-Expansion-EVM. They have verified that the video source is good and that the display (Dell U2410 DP Display) will work fine with it directly from the source.
By following the TI EVM user guide steps, USB-C power and USB data are working fine:
Source side PC USB host port can copy files from PC to Sink side USB2.0 memory stick,
and read data back from USB2.0 memory stick.
But DP1.1 can NOT output video to Dell U2410 DP display, although DP video source has been proven working with Dell U2410 DP monitor.
LED D5 is always flashing;
LED D6,D7,D8,D9 are always on;
LED D4, D10 are always off;
S1 DIP switch settings are as the following:

DP Source (left side):
1 0 0 0
-
DP sink (right side):
0 0 0 0
Are there some different settings we need to try? I have some pictures of their setup I can share as needed.
