I have an embeeded PC with windows 10 mounted.

I have an I2C available for HID devices.

Is TCA8418 compatible with windows 10 ?

Hello Mauro,
I am not sure what it means to be compatible with Window 10 HID over I2C? The part was released in 2009, long before Windows 10. The TCA8418 supports standard I2C communications so it is really up to the person developing the driver to ensure that it operates with the TCA8418.

Can you elaborate on what you are trying to figure out? Do you have a specification that you are referring to? If so, could you share it with me?

I explain better my problem.

I'm planning to use Braswell SOM – System On Module (see https://www.solid-run.com/intel-braswell-family/braswell-som-system-on-module/braswell-som-documentation-block-diagram/)

This module has an I2C available on connector that you can connect with some I2C peripherals (keypad, I/O, ...).

After start windows 10, if you open Device Manager, under Human Interface Devices, you see an item: I2C HID Device.
