Hi team,

My customer used DS90UB954 in a new project. The maximum data rate for the CPU is limited to 600Mbps. If configure 954 to 400Mbps, it's not enough to transmit the video signal, and 800Mbps is not allowed by the CPU. Can we configure the CSI output to 500 or 600Mbps? 500Mbps is enough for this application.

Sorry our UB954 is NOT recommended to work at 500M or 600Mbps per lane for CSI port.

Can you share your processor part number and the video format? it is possible to extend the XO freq. from 23M to 26M to match your processor requirement?

26M is still not enough. minimum rate required is 460MHz.

It seems your processor is NOT friendly here. How do you calculate the 460Mbps/lane? do you use 4lanes mode? or can you extend the 2 CSI-2 ports?

it's 1080p60 of RAW12 data. 1920*1080*12*60*factor. encoding factor is ~ 1.25. anyway, 400Mbps for 4 lanes is not enough.
By the way, 954 would not support to use 2 CSI ports to transmit single input, right?

Mike, yes UB954 can't transmit signal input by 2csi port, UB960 can support it.
for your data rate, the payload for per lane only is ~373Mbps, with additional 10% blanking (you can reduce 1.25 factor to 1.1), you can try the 26MHz REFCLK.
