Hey team,
So I have an application where the TPS65981 needs to be hard reset but power is never removed from the device entirely.
My understanding is that hard reset occurs when 3.3V power is removed or dropped below UVLO, but if you are powering the device via a 5V input and is shut down and enters Sleep_S5 state, the PD controller is still connected and providing power. on the TPS65982 device there is a hard reset trigger that can be toggled and that resolves the problem.
On the TPS65981, what is the means of doing a hard reset in that situation?
