Hi,

I would like to ask about charging into mobile battery across TPS254900-Q1.

My customer requires to charge 2A into mobile battery.

We are supposing that mobile battery can't negotiate charging mode(SDP/CDP/DCP) by data line.

Then, can the TPS254900-Q1 supply above 2A into mobile battery by set ILIM_HI >2A, CTL1/2="1"?

Hi TQ,
Are you saying use TPS254900Q as a power switch?
And set current limit > 2A. Yes, you can do that.
