MAX3243: Logic input/output level

Hi Sirs,

Just confirm two things.

If we use 5V Vcc, the logic in/out level could be 3.3v, right?

And VCC Vs Cap Value just choose 5V option, not 3V to 5.5V. right?

    Hi Shu-Cheng,

    The logic signals scale with VCC, so if VCC = 5 V then the ROUT outputs will be roughly from 0 V to 5 V as well. If you want to support 3.3-V logic, it would probably make sense to change VCC to 3.3 V. Is there a reason you would want to supply the transceiver with 5 V instead?
