does the TUSB8020B compatible for USB3.1 gen1 application (see attached block diagram) ?

    Functionally, the block diagram is fine. Please be aware that the TUSB8020B is a USB 3.0 compliant hub. While it can support the application, if obtaining a USB 3.1 compliance logo is a requirement, they will need to use a USB 3.1 gen 1 hub.
