DS30EA101: Issues with Part - Looking for Pin and Footprint Compatible Part

Is there a pin and footprint compatible part to the DS30EA101 that is just a buffer and does not have equalization capabilities (or can be turned off)?

I am using this part in the system and the eye looks clean at the input, but the output glitches. Bypassing the equalizer results in correct operation, but we would like a component that adds additional margin (input sensitivity, etc.). The signal is from the DS30EA101 to a FPGA with input sensitivity of 100 mV.

Hi Mark,

The LMH0394 is pin and footprint compatible with the DS30EA101. There is a BYPASS pin available on Pin 7, where EQ can be bypassed if pulled high.

The LMH0394 is typically intended for use in SDI applications, but you can use it as a substitute for the DS30EA101 in this use case.

Hi Michael,

When the LMH0394 bypasses the EQ, what is the "minimum input sensitivity" of the part? Specifically for a 200 MHz Nyquist signa input, what is the input requirement when bypassing the EQ of the LMH0394.
