TPS2549-Q1: Behavior of DM_IN while charging mode negotiation

Hi,

Does TPS2549-Q1 drop DM_IN to Low while initial charging mode negotiation?

TPS2549-Q1 is set into CDP mode(CTL1/2/3 = High).

My customer is implementing TPS2549-Q1 and TUSB211 on their application.

TUSB211 is misdetecting HS mode after power up by driving D- to Low.

We would like to know if the misdetection is occurred by behavior of TPS2549-Q1.

Hi,

TPS2549 will not drop DM_IN to low.
In CDP mode, TPS2549 will only pull DM_IN to 0.6V if it detects a 0.6V voltage at DP_IN pin.
