TCA9534: Missing information from datasheet

It appears that a line is missing in table 6.3 "Recommended Operating Conditions" for Vin,H. As of today, it is only specified for Vcc = 1.65V to 2.7V. However, the Vin,L is specified for Vcc=1.65V to 2.7V and for Vcc = 3V to 5.5V. My application will use Vcc = 3.3V and the input signals to the P port will be 0V to 5.5V maximum. What is the Vinh specification for Vcc = 3V to 5.5V?

Hi Nick,

I believe that spec should actually cover the full range (up to 5.5 V), but we will try to confirm this and get back to you soon.

Hey Nick,

I spoke with the engineer who owned the datasheet at the time and it seems there was a typo, so VCC 1.65V to 2.7V should say VCC 1.65V to 5.5V on VIH for A0, A1, A2, P7–P0.

or in simplier terms, inputs between 0V to 5.5V on Vcc at 3.3V should be safe for P port inputs.
