Can you please tell me how to get the audio from HDMI.

Hi,

I think you need a HDMI receiver chip to extract the audio.

I got a HDMI receiver chip

Are you telling this:

HDMI source-----------------HDMI receiver chip (with seperate audio and video output).

Digital video ----------------------DVI (via HDMI to DVI cable)

Digital audio S/PDIF----------------Analog audio (via DAC)-------------------amplifier

After extracting the audio from HDMI can the following conversion be done by any cable?????

Yes, you just need audio DAC for audio output,

but you have to consider what kinds of interface

you like, such as stereo-line outputs or headphone type.

If you like line output, you have to add audio amplifier for

speaker.
