DS110DF111: Advance retimer TX_DIS function

Hello Sirs,

There's a problem for using advance retimer ex: DS125DF and DS110DF .(Pin mode)

If TX_DIS pull down . Then output will nothing not same as datasheet (normal operation)

If TX_DIS pull up . Both channel will be actived such as DS110DF111.

Pls help to clarify this pin function. TKS ~

Hi Terry,

The DS110DF111 and DS125DF111 EVMs I have in the lab work according to information outlined in the datasheet. Note that the OUTA transmitter will always operate with TX_DIS = High or Low and ENSMB = High. When the ENSMB pin is tied "low" for pin mode operation, the TX_DIS input is mapped to be a LOOPBACK control pin.

TX_DIS functionality

HIGH = OUTA Enabled/OUTB Disabled

FLOAT = Reserved

20 K to GND = Reserved

LOW = OUTA/OUTB Enabled (normal operation)

I think I should check LBK pin's description instad of TX_DIS at "pin mode"
