Hi, E2E members,

How many bits is composed the High Speed Forward Channel in DS90UB953?

I would like to calculate data volume of High Speed Forward Channel(Full-HD 1920x1080 60FPS).

Ex) DS90UB913 datasheet

The High Speed Forward Channel is composed of 28 bits of data containing video data, sync signals, I2C and parity bits.

Hi Nao,

This information can be found in section 7.3.2.1 of the DS90UB953-Q1 datasheet: "The DS90UB953-Q1 formats the data into 40-bit long frames".

If you need to find this information in the future for other parts, I suggest searching for the term "frame".

How to calculate FPD-LINK payload?

Pixel Clock * 40 or CSI-2 Clock * 40 ?

The forward channel data rate can be calculated as 40*Pixel clock.
