LMH0394: Input AC coupling cap selection

Hi team,

In datasheet, it's mentioned that input AC couple capacitor has to be 0402 or 0201. Why we have such requirement?

Hi Luke,

The smaller pad size the better it would be. This is because smaller pad size would introduce lower or smaller parasitic. Parasitics normally mess up or degrade return loss/performance.
