Hello,

Does DS80PCI402 have reset function? It seems not existed. How we should do when we feels DS80PCI402 becomes incorrectly works?

Re-write all register setting then try system reboot if it doesn't fixed?

I am not sure if this happens but would like to know just in case.

    Hi Watanabe-san,

    There are two ways to "reset" the device so that it starts up with default settings again:

    1. Hardware Reset: Power down the device and power up again. Note that this is not the same as tying the PRSNT# pin high.

    2. Software Reset: Assuming you have software access, write the following registers:

    Reg 0x06 = 0x18 //Enable Register Write Access
    Reg 0x07[6] = 1'b //Reset all register values to default. This bit will self-clear after it is written.
