HD3SS215: HDMI TDR failure

Part Number: HD3SS215

Hi ,

We designed a board with 4 DVI switches HD3SS215 for HDMI port switching. The issue is we are failing the HDMI TDR testing. The differential lines are designed for 100 Ohm impedance. The Bare PCB test reports for impedance is within 10% margin. We are using ESD diodes and common mode choke between DVI and HDMI connector. What could be the reason for this failure.

Thanks in advance!

Would you please send me the TDR plot? When you say bare PCB test report for impedance is within 10% margin, is this calculated or measured value? Where does the TDR fail, with the HD3SS215? You should able to use the cursor to mark the impedance of each device on the differential line.

    Thanks
