Hi, experts,
I use TUSB1310A on my USB device design, which is active device. And I have a PC boot-up issue.
I use TUSB1310A with Altera (Intel) FPGA and USB IP core.
I observe that long Windows PC boot-up duration when I connect my device in active, power-on, with some PC via USB 3.0 I/F. Some of PCs are fine, finishing boot-up immediately 30 sec or so. Long boot-up means 5 min to 40 min. The duration depends on each maker/type of PC.
I checked USB signal with USB protocol analyzer, and I found a plenty of continuous unnecessary transactions, PING (from Host) and NAK (from my device). However when I checked TX_DATAx's and RX_DATAx's during PC boot-up, I found no or less signal, so there is no data transaction between TUSB1310A and IP core in FPGA.
It looks that TUSB1310A automatically replies NAK by itself.
After migration to Windows display, there is no problem. The interface is smooth.
Does anyone have any idea? Once I have used TUSB1310A with my another active device, but I didn't observe such an issue. I used another USB IP core, so there might be some setup issue in my current IP core setup.
Regards,
Tetsuya
