Hi,


Let me confirm about termination for following unused-pin.


* Is it OK to leave "Open" if user do NOT use following pins ?

  * OSS_SEL

  * OEN

I recognized these input pins have internal week pull down. However, if you have any recommendation for unused case, please let me know.

    Hi,

    Our recommendation is to follow the typical application diagram as this configuration is used for device characterization and link validation, however as long as the system supply and GND does not have large noise it may be acceptable to tie directly to GND.
    In case of deviation from recommended application schematic it is suggested for customer to also perform validation at the system level.

    You do not recommend to leave open (these two pins has internal pull-down), right ?
    If possible, could you please tell us why you recommend to tie GND ?
