TL16C752D: /CDA,/CDB interrupt

Hi team,

My customer has following two questions.

(1)Does carrier detect on /CDA and /CDB pins generate a modem status interrupt?
I sat MCR[3] to１ and /CDA to 0, but interrupt did not occure.

(2)If TL16C752D carrier detect on /CDA and /CDB pins does not generate a modem status interrupt,
do you have a device pin-compatible with this device that generates interrupts by these pins?

As to (1), there is no description about /CDA and /CDB pins interrupt on the datasheet.
So, I don't think /CDA and /CDB pins generate a modem status interrupt.

As to (2), TL16C2550 is pin-compatible with TL16C752D. And I think TL16C2550 /CDA and /CDB pins
generates a modem status interrupt. Is this correct?

You are correct that /CDA and /CDB do not generate interrupts. I am checking to see if any other replacement devices may be able to support this.

So far I have not been able to find something, unfortunately, but I should be able to confirm 100% tomorrow. I apologize that this is taking some time; sometimes it is difficult to find detailed information for these older parts.

Nakano-san,

I just updated the other thread. I wanted to confirm that the IER register is configured properly to allow for modem status interrupts and verify that the CD state changes are being accurately reflected on MCR[3]. Sorry I didn't mention this previously, but I think this is important to check.

The customer set MCR[3]=1, but maybe didn't set IER[3]=1.
I asked the customer to check it.
