DS90UB948-Q1: Does it support I2S DIN and DOUT?

Part Number: DS90UB948-Q1

Hi Expert,

My project will choose digital MIC in panel side, can I connector the DMIC to DS90UB948?

Because the datasheet shows the I2S supports Dout. Thanks!

  • Jerry,
    No, please see d/s description.

  • Hi!

    Can i join topic?

We are going to use DS90UB948 in conjunction with D-class power amp. TAS5760.

    It demands:

    MCLK- master clock

    SCLK- bit clock

    LRCK- Word Select Clock

    SDIN- Data Line

So, we suggest, that we have to use pins of Deserializer in a such way:

    DS90UB948 |  TAS5760

    1. MCLK      to MCLK

    2. I2S_CLK to SCLK

    3. SWC       to LRCK

    4. SDOUT   to SDIN

So, i see, that we have pins, that is a master or slave mode.

As i understand- MCLK and SDOUT generates signal all the time, independently of master/slave mode.

But we need to use I2S_WC and I2S_CLK.  So we need to activate them through register and use together with the master pins?

    Thank you for attention.
