Yes, when BC 1.2 mode is enabled there are two charging modes enabled: DCP and CDP. When there is no connection to the upstream port of the hub, the charging parts are in DCP mode: charging only, no data. When there is a valid connection to the upstream port of the hub, the charging ports are in CDP mode: charging and data.
