DS90UB953-Q1: Can 935, 945 Serdes solution support up to 4K (8Megapixel) sensor 30fps

Dear Sir/madam,

 

There is one point about this 935, 945 chipset that in the datasheet, it says supports up to 4M 30p sensor.

For so called 4K sensor, actually the pixels are : 3840x2160 which is 8Mega pixel, not 4Megapixel as stated in the datasheet.

So I m wondering if this serdes solution can support up to 4K (8Megapixel) sensor 30fps.

 

The targeted sensor which I plan to use need to supports this :

3840x2160, 30p, mipi mode 4 data lanes, 1 CLK lane, 12bit data

At mipi lane frequency 576MHz, the resolution and frame rate is : 3840x2160 21fps

At mipi lane frequency 1.15GHz. the resolution and frame rate is : 3820x2160 30fps

At mipi lane frequency 576MHz, the resolution and frame rate is : 1920x1080 60fps

 

So with the 935, 945 serdes solution, with max data lane frequency of 832MHz, 3840x2160 30fps cannot be supported, need the lane speed to go up to 1.15GHz. So can I know when TI tested to support 3840x2160 @ 30fps, was this tested with 4K camera sensor at 30fps ?
