[ TUSB212-Q1 ] Rise Time and Fall Time Specification

Hi,

Can you please elaborate the specification of rise and fall time?

I just copied fig 5 and combined two eyes. If I see the rise and fall time of this eye diagram, it would be several handreds ps and much slower than 100ps.

It's appreciated if you can help me to understand this specification.

Could you find out any of information in the test data?
I have slightly updated my drawing.

It seems that the rise time is somewhere around 1ns.

kenichiro,

The datasheet shows minimum value only because it is the minimum time in which the TUSB212-Q1 can respond. It actually follows the USB specification and the transmitter, this device helps to overcome the DC loss by increasing the slew-rate but ultimately, the transmitter determines the optimal speed of the transaction.
