Dear TI engineer:

My customer wan to used DS90UB926Q-Q1, but the signal input is not RGB888, input is YUV444, can DS90UB926Q-Q1 support YUV444 input?

If it support YUV444, how to select the input bit? RGB(0-3) or RGB(4-7) ?

Hi,

Yes, could be. what is the pairing part? For UB926, it is one De-serilizer, the serial data would be mapped in the parallel output. You can use the first 16bits only.

I am sorry to key the wrong P/N before. They plan to use the UB925 for Serializer, and UB926 for De-serilizer.
Can UB925 support YUV444 or YUV422 input from Camera? Use witch 12bit or 8bit for data input ?
Dose there is a successful case about use UB925 for camera YUV422 in?
Dose UB933 is the better selection and recommendation?

Eric,
both can work. UB925/6 just is one pair of SerDes, any inputs in parallel pins can be mapped and outputted at de-ser output ports.
sure, UB933 is better than UB925/6 due to less overhead.
