TPS2553-1: About "TPS2553's ILIM pin function check"

Hi, team.

My customers are planning to use TPS2553DBVR-1.

My customer is trying to check the Current Limit Function, please check with the confirmation method below and tell me whether there is no problem.

＜Question＞

Is there no problem with applying 5V from the outside to NO.5 pin?

※Customer try to "apply 5 V to the pin 5 to make a pseudo overcurrent condition and confirm that the output voltage of the 6 pin stops".

※The customer did not mention the conditions of IOUT, but I will separately tell you that there is a minimum load of 100 mA even if shorting ILIM to IN by me.

Basically, I understand that the description of the application of external voltage is not included in the data sheet, but since the customer is focusing on "ILIM short to VIN", I want you to tell me.

    Hi,
    This is not a good solution for stop the output voltage use set the Ilimit pin high. Even though Ilimit pin can sustain 7V max value .
    Why customer don't use "Enable" pin to do this funtion .

    When giving answers, I'll be sure to tell customer that it is better to control with the EN pin for the purpose of resetting the IC .

    But, this time customer's purpose is to conduct such tests to check the current limit function.
    Therefore, please tell me about the following.
    ① Is it possible to confirm with the following measures?

    　Is there no problem with applying 5V from the outside to NO.5 pin?

    If Ilimit pin voltage value don't exceed 7V, it should be OK.
