TPS65982: TPS65982 RESETZ assert without MRSET

Hi, Team,

Is it possible to assert RESETZ without MRSET? For example, EC control GPIO9 via GPsl/GPsh 4CC command.

A customer doesn't use MRSET, but they need to assert RESETZ low due to TBT3 issue.

Hi Satoshi,

No, RESETZ can't be controlled by 4CC command or any other external means apart from low VIN_3V3 or MRSET.

Doesn't TPS65982 assert RESETZ with "Lock 3V3 output" disablement in register 0x5E though I2C?

Hi Satoshi,

RESETZ only toggles during boot up sequence or when MRST line is toggles. It will not toggle by manipulating Lock 3V3 output bit.
