Hello Sirs,

May I know if the high speed probe already have internal 50 ohm termination. Should I still place 100 ohm in CMLOUT+/- pin ?

Hi,

Are you using a Passive probe with 50Ohm Termination?

We suggest using a differential probe to monitor CMLOUT which would require the 100 Ohm termination between CMLOUT+/- pins.

It is possible to use a passive probe if you can supply a 50Ohm load to GND for each output, and use either output single-ended.

Hello Charley,

We use differential probe .So we always need external 100 ohm between CMLOUT+/- ,right ?

The reason why we ask this qyestion is differential probe have internal 50 ohm termination. We confused whether still need external 100 ohm or not,

And we remove 100 ohm the eye's height will bigger than populated 100 ohm.
