ALP: ALP

Part Number: ALP
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: USB2ANY

 hi,

after adding the ds90ub953/954 eval kits using the correct profiles on ALP, the ALP software hangs.

After closing / quitting the ALP, and restart the ALP, the attached error message appears and ALP quits by itself without starting. (after click ok to above message)

This happens repeatedly and uninstall -> re-install ALP does not help.

any idea how to go about resolving this ?

many thanks !!

  • HI,
which I2C voltage are you using on your board?
where and how did you add the profiles to ALP?
If you go to that log file, what are the last messages you can see?
  • hi, this is the log file :

The 953, 954 profiles were added into the launchpad folder -> profiles, together with the other device profiles.

Jumpers are at default locations on the 953 and 954 eval boards.

The launchpad did start up properly before adding the 953, 954 profiles, but after the 953, 954 profiles were added, the reaction of the ALP becomes sluggish and then it hangs for a long time with no reaction. After force closing the ALP and restart, the error message appears.

  • hi, would appreciate if there is any clue or insights on this issue which could possibly fix it ... thanks again !

  • Hi,

try starting ALP in Admin mode.

also make sure you are using just one USB2ANY, either the dungle or the on-board chip.
