My customer is hoping to reduce latency and have some questions:
We are sending a 1920x1080 frame @ 30 fps via HDMI, is the PCLK extracted from the HDMI stream? I read in the datasheet that the bits transmitted over the forward channel vary anywhere from 28 bits to 40 bits. How is that determined? Can we put some information on the forward channel in addition to the 24 bit stream? Or is this some kind of proprietary overhead?
